We are seeking an energetic Warehouse Associate to join our team in Washington, D.C. This role is essential for the efficient operation of our warehouse and the timely fulfillment of orders. You will be involved in a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping goods. A strong focus on accuracy, efficiency, and maintaining a safe working environment is required. You will be expected to follow all operational procedures, including adherence to safety protocols and the correct use of PPE . Experience with Lifting and moving inventory is necessary. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and stock incoming merchandise.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently using RF scanners.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and staging.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE .
- Operate warehouse equipment safely (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Participate in inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Follow all guidelines for safe Lifting and material handling.
- Support the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Understanding of basic warehouse procedures and logistics .
- Commitment to following all safety regulations and wearing the required PPE .
