We are seeking a motivated and reliable Distribution Center Associate to join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This is a crucial role within our logistics operations, responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of goods through our facility. You will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and shipping. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Experience with warehouse equipment is a plus. You will be expected to adhere to all company policies and procedures, including strict adherence to safety protocols. This role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, contributing to overall warehouse productivity and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Inspect goods for damage and report any discrepancies.
- Sort, stock, and store merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all housekeeping standards.
- Participate in inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Adhere to all PPE requirements and company safety guidelines.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, supporting the overall logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
- Must be capable of Lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Understanding of basic warehouse procedures and safety practices.
