We are looking for a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our busy warehouse team in Omaha, Nebraska. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise. Your role is essential to our logistics operations, ensuring smooth material flow from receiving to shipping. You will operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to transport goods throughout the facility. A strong emphasis is placed on safety; you must maintain a clean and safe working environment, conduct pre-operational checks on equipment, and strictly adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE. This position requires precision in maneuvering in tight spaces and a thorough understanding of warehouse safety regulations. You will be involved in loading and unloading trucks, moving inventory to and from storage areas, and assisting with order picking and packing as needed. Physical stamina is required, including the ability to perform occasional lifting of items that are not palletized. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe forklift operation, a valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one), and a commitment to teamwork.
