We are hiring a Picker/Packer for our facility in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This dual role is essential for our logistics operations, focusing on both accurately picking items for orders and then carefully packing them for shipment. You will be responsible for retrieving products from warehouse locations and preparing them for transit, ensuring quality and order accuracy. The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, efficiency, and a strong commitment to workplace safety. Working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, you'll need to be adept at handling products and following established procedures. We strictly enforce safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE. Join a team dedicated to seamless order fulfillment and logistics excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Pick products from designated warehouse locations using order sheets or scanning devices.
- Inspect picked items for accuracy and quality.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Verify order contents against packing slips.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and guidelines, including proper use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Must be able to perform lifting up to 45 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work with speed and accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail for both picking and packing accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
