We are seeking a motivated and reliable Order Picker to join our dynamic logistics team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking customer orders from warehouse shelves. This position is crucial to our supply chain operations, ensuring that products reach our customers on time and in perfect condition. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing scanning technology to track inventory and fulfill orders. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a strong commitment to safety protocols. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products for customer orders using a handheld scanner or order sheet.
- Verify product codes and quantities against order specifications.
- Safely operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring aisles are clear and products are stored correctly.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks as required.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding any discrepancies or issues.
- Must be able to perform lifting of up to 50 lbs regularly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
