This role is essential for fulfilling customer orders accurately and on time. You will be involved in various tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise. Operating warehouse equipment and maintaining a safe, organized work environment are key components of this position. We place a high priority on safety; therefore, strict adherence to all safety protocols and the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory. This is a physically demanding role that requires stamina, the ability to perform frequent lifting, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality. Experience in a warehouse setting is advantageous, but we are willing to train dedicated individuals. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming inventory.
- Stock shelves and storage locations accurately.
- Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Prepare orders for shipment and stage them for carriers.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Conduct inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Wear and utilize required PPE at all times.
- Identify and report any safety hazards or operational issues.
- Engage in tasks involving regular lifting and physical activity.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Must be able to perform lifting tasks up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Familiarity with logistics operations is a plus.
