We are seeking energetic and reliable individuals to support our warehouse operations by safely and efficiently moving materials, products, and equipment throughout the facility. Your role is essential in ensuring a smooth workflow from receiving to shipping, directly contributing to our commitment to timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. You will operate various material handling equipment, assist with loading and unloading trucks, and maintain organization within the warehouse. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to all company safety policies to prevent accidents and injuries. This position requires the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting and maneuvering of goods. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong work ethic and a keen awareness of their surroundings. Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment is highly desirable. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Move materials, products, and equipment throughout the warehouse.
- Assist with order picking and packing as needed.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by ensuring proper placement and labeling of goods.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of debris.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
- Perform routine checks on material handling equipment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors.
- Participate in inventory counts.
- Engage in tasks involving significant lifting and physical exertion.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
- Ability to operate various types of warehouse equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting, typically up to 50-75 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the use of PPE.
- Good physical stamina and coordination.
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Familiarity with logistics operations is a plus.
