Join our growing warehouse team in Des Moines, Iowa, as a Warehouse Associate! You will be involved in a variety of tasks crucial to our daily operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. This role is essential for our Logistics network, ensuring that products reach their destination efficiently and accurately. We are committed to maintaining a high level of Safety for all our employees.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with unloading and loading of trucks.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Conduct inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on Safety and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Must wear appropriate PPE , such as safety vests and steel-toed boots.
- Understanding of general Logistics principles is beneficial.
