As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for locating and retrieving products from warehouse shelves, preparing them for shipment, and ensuring that orders are picked correctly and efficiently. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from designated warehouse locations.
- Use picking equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, RF scanners) to locate and retrieve items.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack picked items securely for shipment.
- Stage orders for loading onto delivery trucks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, including wearing required PPE and practicing safe Lifting.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Contribute to team goals and support other warehouse functions.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order sheets and product labels.
- Familiarity with RF scanning equipment is a plus.
- Must be able to perform moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Understanding of warehouse safety and logistics procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
