Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck safely and efficiently to move, put away, and retrieve products from high-level racking.
- Perform pre-operational checks on the reach truck to ensure safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory locations by properly storing and retrieving goods.
- Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories as needed.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of obstructions.
- Collaborate with other warehouse associates to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to a supervisor immediately.
- Support overall logistics operations by ensuring efficient product movement.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge of warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse environment.
- Valid certification for reach truck operation is required.
- Ability to perform occasional heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety standards and procedures.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain focus at heights.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the proper use of required PPE.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
