Lead mechanical design from concept to manufacture for machinery and process systems Oversee a small design team, checking and approving work to ensure quality and accuracy Produce 3D models, assemblies, fabrication drawings, and BOMs Plan workloads, allocate resources, and support Project Managers Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve technical issues Manage drawing release, revision control, and documentation You’ll Need
HNC / HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) 8 years’ experience in machinery, process, or automation design Strong fabrication, pipework, and assembly knowledge Experience mentoring, checking drawings, and maintaining design standards Confident communicator ready to step into leadership Nice to Have
Knowledge of P&IDs, process equipment, or DfM Familiarity with CE marking, machinery safety, or fluid systems If you’ve been the “go-to” designer in your team and you’re ready to lead, this role will take you there. Apply now to find out more.
