Backend Engineer (on-site/London) - up to £260k A high-growth blockchain infrastructure company is building the next generation of ultra-fast trading and digital asset platforms, and were looking for an exceptional Backend Engineer to join the London team onsite. If you thrive in high-performance environments, love tackling complex engineering challenges, and want to help bridge the gap between traditional finance and crypto innovation, this is the opportunity for you. What You'll Do:
Design and develop backend systems powering high-frequency trading and crypto platforms Build performance-critical APIs, order matching engines, and real-time data pipelines Collaborate with trading, quant, and blockchain teams to deliver low-latency infrastructure Optimize system performance, scalability, and throughput Contribute to cutting-edge blockchain and digital asset technology What Were Looking For:
5+ years of backend engineering experience in trading, HFT, or crypto systems Deep expertise in C++, Rust, Go, or Java or similar Strong understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and distributed architectures Experience with market data, order execution, or exchange connectivity Interest or experience in blockchain and decentralized technologies If you have further queries please do not hesitate to contact myself on Joseph@techchaintalent.xyz
