Location:
Belfast (hybrid - 2 days/week in the office with potential for some flexibility)
Start Date:
Immediate (ideally before Christmas)
Duration:
6 months (potential to extend or become perm)
Day Rate:
£400/day, outside IR35
What You'll Be Doing:
Leading end-to-end UX for a technical product area undergoing platform migration.
Running user research - writing scripts, conducting sessions and synthesising insights into actionable designs.
Designing complex flows, wireframes and high-fidelity screens.
Prototyping and validating solutions with users.
Evolving and challenging the existing design system.
Collaborating with a close-knit agile team including PM, Engineering Manager, Engineers and an Analyst.
What You'll Bring:
Strong senior-level UX experience with complex products.
Expertise in
information architecture, navigation design
and
design systems .
Proven ability to lead research and turn insights into practical, elegant designs.
A portfolio that clearly demonstrates
process, thinking and outcomes , not just visual polish.
Problem-solving mindset and creative approach to design challenges.
Financial services or regulated sector experience is a plus.
