What you’ll do You’ll love what you do and take pride in delighting our guests and clients:
Reporting to the Senior Director of Regional Sales UK & Europe, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for developing the new business pipeline for Global Sales, including Social Group, Celebrations, M&E, and Suite Sales business for all Dorchester Collection hotels in line with Dorchester Collection’s Target Market strategies.
You will be responsible for maintaining and creating relationships and driving maximum social group, external catering, and exclusive use buy‑out leads/revenue potential from designated territories, into all hotels.
With exceptional capability in creating client loyalty, the Regional Sales Manager will produce a strategic and measurable sales action plan and achieve individual revenue goals set by the Senior Director of Regional Sales.
Create Dorchester Collection marketing requirements plan for Social Groups, External Catering and Exclusive Use and work with relevant internal stakeholders to deliver sales toolkit.
Develop sales strategies to solicit and further develop new business from dedicated prospecting goals, to prospect and uncover new business and to gain market share from competitive set to match Dorchester Collection hotels’ revenue plan strategies.
Manage sales activity in territory to increase awareness and positive image of Dorchester Collection.
Travel to the properties and various tradeshows/events outside assigned territory as required and explore/research new tradeshow or exhibition opportunities.
Arrange and facilitate key account appointments/presentations for visiting hotel colleagues to assigned territory when necessary.
Identify new business opportunities and work closely to secure maximum number of opportunities that match hotels’ needs.
Escort FAM trips to Dorchester Collection properties as necessary.
Attend and participate in annual Dorchester Collection sales meeting and annual sales training.
Keep accurate, clean & up to date records of sales activities (advising client potential for all Dorchester Collection hotels) in Nexus database.
Prepare annual individual budget and manage final approved version.
Keep accurate records of expenses and petty cash and manage/update assigned budget on a monthly basis.

What you’ll bring
Sales specific experience at manager level within the luxury market.
Previous event experience, ideally related to Social Events & Celebrations.
Ability to balance the financial considerations of the business and understanding of hotels’ marketing and business plans.
Strong prospecting and group conversion skills.
Ability to develop long lasting relationships with both clients/guests and the hotel based teams.
Communication fluency in written and spoken English.
Confident and dynamic public speaking abilities, and ability to communicate and interact effectively with persuasive/influencing skills.
Ability to anticipate clients’/agents’ needs.
Adaptability within a busy working office environment and ability to work under pressure.
