Responsibilities
Proactively identify, research, and engage with Commercial Insurance prospects to support growth through high‑quality lead generation.
Conduct outbound calls to prospects, qualify leads, and book appointments for Account Executives (AEs).
Collaborate closely with AEs and attend regular sales and pipeline meetings to align priorities and share insights.
Use CRM (Acturis) to record all prospecting activity and maintain accurate opportunity data.
Monitor and report on call activity.
Encourage and support all staff in identifying potential leads for follow‑up, researching renewal dates, and adding to the pipeline.
Maintain and update the opportunity pipeline in the office to track prospecting progress and team contributions.
Deliver weekly reports on lead generation activity, including number of calls made, leads generated, appointments booked, and conversion rates.
Ensure compliance with local procedures, customer service standards and external compliance regulations, e.g. FCA.
About You
Insurance background preferred (Commercial ideally).
Previous experience in a sales / new business generation type role (essential).
Excellent customer service & sales skills.
Excellent telephone manner, able to network & build working relationships easily.
Drive and genuine passion to learn and develop within Insurance.
Ability to use initiative, can multi‑task, updating relevant systems and admin.
