*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated School Occupational Therapist to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to students across various age groups, supporting their developmental, sensory, and motor skills within the school environment. This role involves collaborating with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that promote student success and well-being. The School Occupational Therapist will play a vital role in helping students with disabilities achieve their full potential through targeted interventions and adaptive strategies.
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct assessments to identify students’ sensory, motor, and functional needs.
* Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aligned with educational goals and student needs.
* Provide direct therapy services in individual or group settings within the school environment.
* Collaborate with teachers, speech therapists, physical therapists, and other specialists to coordinate care plans.
* Support discharge planning and transition services for students moving between educational or community settings.
* Adapt classroom activities and environments to facilitate participation for students with disabilities.
* Educate staff and parents on strategies to support student development and participation.
* Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, interventions, progress notes, and compliance reports in accordance with regulatory standards.
*Experience*
* Prior experience working as an Occupational Therapist in school settings is required.
* Background working with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental delays, or other disabilities is desirable.
* Knowledge of early intervention practices, pediatrics, and outpatient clinic experience is beneficial.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
