As an RAC Mobile Mechanic in the Service, Maintenance and Repair division, you’ll bring expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to our customers, wherever they are. From driveways to office car parks, you’ll deliver first-class service without the constraints of a traditional garage. We’ll equip you for success from day one — with your own RAC van, fuel card, full uniform, essential tools, and diagnostic kit all provided. What you’ll do
Provide vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and checks at customer locations (driveways, car parks, etc.). Manage parts stock, perform reporting, and maintain clear customer communication. Represent the RAC with professionalism and deliver excellent customer service on every visit.
What you’ll need
Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent) At least 3 years\' hands-on experience as a vehicle technician working with a range of light vehicles A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
What you’ll get
A competitive base salary of £38,625 with on-target earnings up to £55,000 (inclusive of London Weighting, if applicable) Overtime option to increase your base salary to £44,385, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities 40 hours per week, with core hours 8:30am–5pm, and 1 in 4 Saturdays Other benefits including guaranteed overtime after first month, car salary sacrifice options after 12 months, pension, life assurance, and wellbeing resources
