Responsibilities
Using CAD for concept design and producing technical drawings.
Leading client projects to convert ideas into designs.
Working on new product concepts and participating in the product design and development process using CAD.
Designing high‑precision instrumentation products and employing injection‑moulding methods to produce them.
Conducting design reviews and producing the relevant documentation required.
Collaborating with manufacturing processes and instrumentation teams to ensure design feasibility.
Qualifications & Attributes
BSc
/
BEng
in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
3+ years of industry experience in a similar Mechanical Design role.
Experience in high‑precision manufacturing and injection‑moulding processes.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and instrumentation.
Excellent proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks or equivalent).
Strong mathematical and general engineering knowledge.
Strong understanding of system requirements.
Self‑motivated with excellent attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Willingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally on occasion.
