Data Scientist
to support and enhance AI-driven solutions across the business on a 6-month contract.
This role sits within the central Data & Analytics function and reports to the Director of Data.
Responsibilities
Evaluate, optimise, and enhance existing AI/ML and agentic AI models developed by third-party vendors
Ensure models are robust, scalable, well-documented, and aligned with regulatory requirements
Support knowledge transfer and help build a permanent in-house data science capability
Work closely with technology teams, business stakeholders, and senior leadership
Requirements
Strong hands‑on experience with Python and ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit‑learn)
Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and agentic AI frameworks
Understanding of data pipelines, cloud environments, and model governance
Background in financial services or asset management preferred
Confident communicator able to explain complex concepts to non‑technical audiences
