CloudXcel is seeking a talented and highly motivated
Cloud Data Engineer
with expertise in
Python
to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize cloud-based data pipelines and infrastructure. The ideal candidate is passionate about data engineering, proficient in Python, and eager to solve complex challenges in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable
cloud-based data pipelines
to collect, process, and analyze large datasets. Build and optimize
ETL workflows
to ensure efficient data integration and processing. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to support data modeling, analytics, and reporting needs. Leverage
Python
to implement robust data solutions, including automation and optimization tasks. Develop and maintain
cloud data infrastructure
using platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with industry best practices and standards. Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure reliability and performance. Stay updated on the latest advancements in cloud data engineering and recommend new tools or technologies as needed. Requirements:
Strong proficiency in
Python
for data engineering tasks. Experience with
cloud platforms
(e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP), including services like S3, Lambda, BigQuery, or Databricks. Solid understanding of
ETL processes , data modeling, and data warehousing. Familiarity with
SQL
and relational databases. Knowledge of
big data technologies , such as Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka, is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in
Computer Science ,
Data Engineering , or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Preferred Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with
IaC (Infrastructure as Code)
tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Familiarity with
API integration
and RESTful services. Knowledge of
containerization
and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. Experience in
CI/CD pipelines
for data engineering workflows. Understanding of
data security principles
and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). Benefits:
