Agile Linux MongoDB Quality Engineer Automation Testing We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our MongoDB team and ensure the stability and reliability of our software. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the quality of our software products throughout the release process and beyond. This includes analyzing and reporting defects, designing and implementing test cases, and scaling our testing capabilities and infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and report defects identified through automation testing frameworks. Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases to validate software functionality and performance. Collaborate with the development team to optimize and scale test activities. Contribute to the improvement and automation of software development processes. Maintain and improve automation testing systems and infrastructure. Research and recommend tools and strategies for improving test processes. Minimum Qualifications:
Solid debugging skills and experience (analyzing log files, identifying missing binaries, spotting patterns). Knowledge of test methods in agile software development environments. Solid Linux sysadmin skills (adding/removing software, enabling/disabling services, using Unix/Linux CLI tools). Experience with networking, hardware, file systems, and server connectivity. Experience with database technologies (backups, verification, PITR). Experience with compiling/building/packaging/release engineering/yum/apt. Additional Experience Desired:
Knowledge of MongoDB and related technologies. Experience with automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD). Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with performance testing and security testing techniques. Coding skills in Python or C/C++. Desired Capabilities:
