Sales Account Manager—Chester/Liverpool What the role entails
As a Sales Account Manager you will be pivotal in driving growth and customer satisfaction across the construction industry. You will visit customers in the field, position solutions to improve productivity, solve problems, and identify opportunities, ensuring meaningful impact in every interaction. Hilti thrives on a direct B2B sales model, meaning your impact is immediate and meaningful. You’ll champion real change in productivity, safety, and sustainability.
What You’ll Do
Visit customer locations and construction sites across your territory Monday to Friday.
Engage with current, new, and returning customers to build strong relationships, generating leads and conducting sales every day.
Plan and manage your pipeline proactively, combining proven approaches with creative thinking to uncover new opportunities.
Stay informed on products and market trends to bring a positive, solution‑focused mindset to every customer interaction.
What You’ll Bring
A full manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points, and willingness to travel to customer sites every weekday.
Eligibility to work in the UK.
Experience in a fast‑paced customer‑focused position, ideally as an account manager or in business development, or a qualified background in engineering, construction or a technical field.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently, managing your time and priorities effectively.
Resilience and adaptability, with confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels.
A solution‑oriented approach, uncovering customer pain points and presenting tailored, value‑driven solutions.
A natural sense of drive, curiosity, and motivation to succeed, learn, and grow.
