A growing international technology organisation is seeking a Communications & Social Media Executive to join its UK team. This role is ideal for someone with 2–3 years’ experience who wants more variety, ownership and exposure across both UK and European projects.
The position offers hybrid working, strong development opportunities and occasional travel to European offices for meetings, events or training.
The company delivers innovative technology solutions used by major organisations across various industries. With teams based across Europe, Asia, Australia and the Americas, the UK division works closely with global colleagues on communication campaigns, digital content and brand storytelling.
The Role-
The Communications & Social Media Executive will support the UK Media Relations Manager and work with the wider Global Communications & Marketing team. The role suits someone proactive, organised and confident transforming technical information into clear, engaging content for different audiences.
Key Responsibilities -
Press & Communications
Research, draft and proofread press releases, articles and social content
Translate technical information into accessible, engaging messaging
Maintain media lists, monitor press coverage and support campaign analytics
Contribute creative ideas to help explain complex topics
Support global marketing events when required
Social Media & Digital Content
Manage daily social media activity and the content calendar
Draft, schedule and publish posts (mainly LinkedIn)
Create simple branded graphics using Canva
Monitor engagement, coordinate responses, and report on performance
Assist with paid social campaigns
Work with external agencies on content, brand and employer branding initiatives
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, PR, Journalism, Marketing, English, or similar or equivalent experience
2–3 years in communications, PR, social media or related role
Strong writing and editing skills
Social media knowledge: formats, best practice, scheduling and analytics
Experience using Canva
Excellent organisational skills and ability to juggle priorities
Proactive, collaborative and keen to learn
Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
Willingness to travel for events when required
Experience with paid social campaigns
Graphic or video content skills
Interest in technology and how it impacts everyday life
