The Role As part of Ontic’s global Operations community, you will play a key role in driving Operational Excellence, one of our core strategic pillars.
You’ll help the company effectively deploy its assets—inventory, capital, and people—to meet customer and stakeholder expectations.
In this onsite role you will:
Define, create, and maintain data models, reports, and visualisations that enable meaningful business insights across all sites.
Work with cross‑functional teams to develop consistent metric definitions, create a common terminology, and align key attribute sets while serving as a data owner and steward.
Engage with stakeholders across departments, acting as the conduit between the supply chain and global data teams to ensure data insights drive informed decision‑making.
Develop dashboards and datasets that support Sales Inventory and Operations Planning, core operational metrics, and continuous improvement tracking.
Contribute to data governance, audit data pipelines, and maintain the accuracy of Ontic’s supply chain data dictionary.
Transform data into valuable insights that empower leaders and teams to make better, faster, and smarter decisions.
About You To succeed in this role you will bring a blend of technical expertise and business acumen, with experience in a low‑volume, high‑mix global supply chain environment.
You will have:
Strong knowledge of operations and supply chain KPIs.
Proficiency in data warehousing, modelling, and analytics.
Experience building data models using Kimball Dimensional Modelling techniques and working with cloud data warehouses (ideally Snowflake).
Strong programming skills in SQL, familiarity with DBT for transformation, and expertise in Power BI—including DAX, M‑Query, and DevOps cycles.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills to translate complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
Proactive, organized, and detail‑oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining high standards of data integrity, security, and compliance (including GDPR and PII principles).
