What you will be doing As Mechanical Design Engineer you will be responsible for all activities associated with the production of Mechanical Design in compliance with the Business Management Systems (BMS) and CDM regulations, assisting with the wider general Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation (PMEICA) and Civils design production activities, providing technical support to the supply chain procurement activities and supporting site activities as required. You will also assist with the management of Consultants and Sub‑contractors design production.
About You
Have the necessary qualifications in a recognised relevant Subject to HNC / Degree Level.
Gain working knowledge of aspects and law, including The Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 and CDM 2015.
Gain a basic knowledge of sub‑contract processes – contract and commercial.
Basic appreciation and use knowledge of project management – programming, cash flow analysis, resource planning etc.
Willingness to work towards membership of relevant professional institution (e.g. IMechE)
Water Industry experience (Desired)
Process Industry experience (essential)
