Detail Design Engineers – Marine Projects (Junior to Senior Level) Location: Belcan Derby or Glasgow Office Employment Type: Permanent or Contract Role Overview
As a Detail Design Engineer, you will be responsible for producing high-quality 2D and 3D design outputs across a range of marine systems and structures. You’ll work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support the design, development, and integration of components and systems for naval vessels. Disciplines & Technical Focus Areas
Structural, Piping, Electrical, and Outfit Design Modelling and drafting of bulkheads and decks Shell modelling and nesting Pipe routing and isometric outputs Electronic schematic analysis Cable segregation and load calculations Integration of equipment Ship’s access and escape equipment Insulation, paint, and deck coverings Key Toolsets
