We’re looking for a
Sales Consultant
to join our team in
Aston, Birmingham . Whether you’re just starting out or already have some sales or business development experience, if you’re someone with natural people skills, drive, and curiosity – we want to hear from you. This is a great opportunity to build a rewarding career in a sector that matters.
Responsibilities
Reaching out to companies in the manufacturing sector and promoting Make UK’s membership & key subscription products and services
Getting to know our services inside and out, from consultancy to training
Thinking creatively about how to tailor our offer to each client
Using email, phone, and video to connect with new and existing members (plus occasional travel)
Building long-term relationships and spotting opportunities for upselling
Exploring new sectors and finding fresh leads
Working closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth, positive customer experience
Managing your own sales plan and achieving KPIs and targets
Qualifications
Tenacity and drive
Team and company focused
Experience in a marketing, sales, business development environment will be beneficial, but not essential
A self‑starter who is driven, hardworking and keen to succeed
Confident speaking to strangers and building rapport
