Engineer - Nuclear System Engineer Join AtkinsRéalis as a Nuclear Safety Engineer and play a vital role in assessing risks for our nuclear clients, helping them and us realize our low‑carbon energy ambitions to shape a better future for our planet.
Responsibilities
Produce hazards assessments or author complex safety cases, justifying and supporting critical decision‑making in the design, operation, and/or decommissioning of nuclear facilities.
Influence client strategic direction to support obtaining a nuclear site licence for their innovative design, networking to develop the business pipeline within your capability, and delivering technical presentations to regulators.
Support technical delivery of projects across defence, nuclear generation, nuclear new build, fusion and SMR markets; address complex problems and present solutions to diverse stakeholders.
Contribute to and learn from the wider technical community within AtkinsRéalis, fostering collaboration across multidisciplinary teams, and begin to develop and mentor junior engineers.
