Associate Director - Technology at Burns Sheehan Frontend Engineer – Join a scaling FinTech
Hybrid working – 2-3 days a week onsite – London based
We’re currently partnered with a scaling FinTech who are transforming the property market to unlock investment opportunities. The business has continued to scale through recent investment and with new product offerings, they are now in a position to offer their customers further loans through their platform.
The business are now looking to further invest in their in-house tech team and bringing onboard an experienced Tech Lead and engineers as they continue to scale their platform. They are currently going through a rebuild of their existing platform and it’s an exciting time to join the team as you’ll have autonomy in the role to work on greenfield projects and make an impact on the platform for future growth.
You’ll be part of a small team making big product decisions, shaping how technology transforms an established industry with modern tools and creative freedom.
What will you be doing:
Build and maintain core features for the company’s new platform using React and TypeScript
Collaborate with designers and back-end engineers to deliver intuitive, high-performing user experiences
Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding and improve deliver quality
Contribute ideas to architecture and product discussions, bringing a practical mindset rapid iteration
Take ownership of features from concept to release in a start-up style environment
What are they looking for:
Experience within React.js and TypeScript – they are currently introducing Next.js as part of their tech stack
Exposure to backend or full-stack development is beneficial but not essential
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Able to work closely with cross-functional teams
