About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled
Lead Web Interaction Designer
to collaborate with our digital design team on a project basis. This role is ideal for an experienced designer who thrives in a flexible, contract‑based environment and can deliver world‑class, interactive web experiences. You will work closely with clients, lead design projects, and push creative boundaries through advanced web interactions and motion prototypes.
Key Responsibilities
Create sophisticated web interactions, animations, scroll effects, and micro‑interactions that elevate user experience.
Design and develop dynamic motion prototypes that bring digital experiences to life.
Confidently present design concepts, interactive solutions, and motion prototypes to clients.
Work closely with UX designers, developers, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive project execution.
Manage multiple freelance projects, ensuring timely and high‑quality deliverables.
Share expertise and mentor junior designers where needed to drive creative excellence.
Ensure all designs comply with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2) and are optimised for performance.
Apply user‑centred design principles to create intuitive, engaging, and responsive digital experiences.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a Senior Digital Designer or Lead Web Designer, ideally in a freelance or contract capacity.
Advanced proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD for interface and prototyping design.
Expertise in motion prototyping tools such as Protopie, Framer, or similar.
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to collaborate effectively with developers.
Deep knowledge of UX/UI best practices, including responsive design and accessibility standards.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and articulate design decisions clearly.
Preferred Additional Skills
Experience with Webflow, Framer, or EditorX for no‑code prototyping.
Knowledge of SEO principles.
Strong storytelling abilities through design and motion.
Experience in user testing and gathering actionable insights.
