JupiterOne is a cyber asset attack surface management (CAASM) platform company providing visibility and security into your entire cyber asset universe. Using graphs and relationships, JupiterOne provides a contextual knowledge base for an organization's cyber asset operations. Cloud resources, ephemeral devices, identities, access rights, code, pull requests, and much more are collected, graphed, and monitored automatically.
As a Senior UX Designer, you'll be responsible for researching, designing, and communicating ideal user journeys and user experiences within JupiterOne. You'll research common patterns for data platforms and apply them to the JupiterOne experience, designing new features and optimizing existing ones to minimize the learning curve. You'll also be expected to design UI elements to build an experience that wows and delights our users.
Tool Stack: TypeScript and React Figma Material UI Pendo What you will do: Act as a subject matter expert in user experience, designing ideal user journeys and experiences for both new and existing features. Provide guidance and input on user interface design. Work closely with product management to research, design, and mock up new features and platform capabilities before handing them over to the development team. Conduct user testing and iterate on designs based on feedback, ensuring continuous refinement of the JupiterOne experience. Research common UX/UI patterns for big data platforms and design user journeys that simplify the user experience and reduce the learning curve. Use user observability tools to identify friction points in JupiterOne's user experience and prioritize design improvements. Collaborate closely with the engineering team to ensure UX/UI designs are feasible and seamlessly integrated with application development. Design UI elements for various features and, as a bonus, help maintain our component library. Who you are: Experience designing user experiences for big data or complex data platforms. Strong skills in designing user interfaces that make large data sets consumable and actionable for users. Skilled at taking complex concepts and making them simple and intuitive through great user experiences and interfaces. Data-driven and comfortable conducting both user and competitor research to inform design decisions. Comfortable with in-depth design on specific features and iterating on multiple designs, but also flexible in producing best-effort designs quickly for rapid prototyping. (Bonus) Experience implementing and maintaining component libraries. (Bonus) Experience designing patterns to incorporate AI seamlessly into user experiences and interfaces.
