Business Intelligence Developer An exciting opportunity for a Power BI Developer to join a major UK retail organisation’s finance team, working closely with their analytics function to drive data storytelling, reporting automation, and self-service analytics adoption across the business.
Reporting to the Analytics Manager, you’ll collaborate with SQL engineers and finance stakeholders to deliver high-impact Power BI dashboards supporting four key areas: Operations – Stock levels across stores, warehouses, and tills.
Overview This role involves delivering finance and operational dashboards, enabling insight-driven decision-making and contributing to data storytelling across the business.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards tailored to finance and operational functions.
Work closely with business users to gather requirements and translate them into actionable visualisations.
Utilise data storytelling to enable insight-driven decision-making.
Support the business in transitioning to self-service analytics, reducing ad hoc reporting.
Contribute to the team’s shift toward a gold-standard Medallion Architecture.
