Social Media & Content Executive
for our Hope Education brand. This exciting role is central to delivering our digital content strategy, with a strong focus on social media and editorial content.
You’ll play a key role in building our brand presence, engaging our audiences, and supporting impactful campaigns across key channels including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, blogs and performance marketing channels. We’re looking for a creative, digitally savvy communicator who is confident producing social‑first content, writing educational blog posts, and collaborating with influencers and early years practitioners to champion the voices of educators.
This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role for someone passionate about digital storytelling and content creation – and who wants to make a difference in the world of education.
Your Role Reporting to the Social Media Manager, some of the responsibilities of this exciting opportunity include:
Social Media Management
Plan and schedule daily content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other platforms, following the content calendar.
Ensure a consistent, on‑brand tone of voice and visual identity across all channels.
Align social media activity with wider marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives.
Content Creation (Social & Editorial)
Develop engaging content such as blog articles, social posts, reels, carousels, product spotlights, how‑to guides, and thought leadership pieces.
Write, edit, and publish blog content, incorporating SEO best practices (training provided).
Collaborate with internal teams and educators to share inspiring stories and practical classroom content.
Use creative tools like Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Creative Suite to produce and adapt multimedia assets.
Community & Influencer Engagement
Actively engage with our online community through comments, messages, mentions, and tags.
Build and maintain strong relationships with educators, customers, and content contributors.
Support influencer and ambassador programmes, including coordination and content tracking.
Performance Tracking & Optimisation
Assist with regular reporting on key performance metrics such as engagement, reach, traffic, and blog views.
Use insights and analytics to refine content strategies and improve performance.
Stay informed on social media trends, competitor activity, and platform algorithm changes.
Internal Collaboration & Advocacy
Share content successes and performance highlights with internal teams.
Encourage content sharing and advocacy among colleagues and contributors.
Work closely with product, design, education, and customer teams to source and shape compelling content.
Skills & Experience
2+ years’ experience in a content, marketing or social media role (agency or in‑house)
Strong creative and editorial writing skills – ability to tailor tone for different audiences
Good knowledge of social platforms: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn
Experience using social/content tools (e.g. Canva, Later, Meltwater, CapCut, Adobe tools)
Understanding of blog/SEO best practices or willingness to learn
Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and proactive
Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
Experience in the early years / UK nursery sector (desirable)
Able to drive and have own transport for customer & market visits
