The Role We’re looking for a creative, strategic
Content Strategist
to help shape the next phase of Hook’s content engine. You’ll play a pivotal role in developing and executing a content strategy that engages our audience, drives inbound demand, and strengthens Hook’s position as a thought leader in the customer growth space. Reporting directly to our VP, Customer Growth, you’ll create high‑impact content across multiple formats, from whitepapers and reports to blogs, eBooks, newsletters, and social media (including video). You’ll combine creativity and storytelling with analytical thinking and SEO know‑how to craft content that doesn’t just attract attention, but delivers measurable business results.
What You’ll Be Doing
Build and evolve our content strategy: shape the narrative and ensure content aligns with our broader marketing and growth goals.
Create outstanding content: produce and manage a mix of thought leadership, educational resources, and campaign‑driven content (blogs, whitepapers, case studies, videos, newsletters, etc.).
Optimise everything for SEO: write with both humans and algorithms in mind, ensuring our content is discoverable and impactful.
Develop and execute social content plans: craft channel‑specific narratives that engage our audience and drive conversations.
Write for paid campaigns: deliver compelling copy for paid social and digital ads.
Collaborate across teams: work closely with product, sales, and customer teams to uncover insights, stories, and opportunities for new content.
Liaise with freelancers: manage external contributors for design, video, and other creative needs.
Analyse and report on performance: use tools like Google Analytics and HubSpot to measure content impact and feed learnings back into strategy.
Stay plugged into communities: engage in relevant forums and online spaces to build Hook’s visibility and authority.
