Overview To provide comprehensive sales and administrative support for the TPS Centre by achieving sales targets, developing strong customer relationships and ensuring accurate management of financial and operational processes. This role combines outbound telephone sales activity with back‑office administration to deliver excellent service and operational efficiency in line with company policies.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Customer Service
Achieve personal and Centre KPI targets and revenue objectives.
Accurately identify and supply parts to meet customer requirements.
Promote product features, benefits and unique selling points to customers upselling where appropriate.
Maintain expert product knowledge through training bulletins and updates.
Build strong and lasting customer relationships through regular contact via phone calls.
Provide a high level of customer service ensuring all concerns and disputes are handled promptly and professionally.
Ensure compliance with TPS brand standards and maintain a professional appearance.
Administration & Cash Management
Process record and reconcile all incoming payments (cash card) in line with company policy.
Maintain accurate and timely cash journals, submit invoices and process petty cash.
Maintain systematic filing systems and accurate customer records ensuring compliance with GDPR.
Manage office supplies post handling and support warehouse admin tasks.
Monitor and control access to TPS systems supporting system / data accuracy and compliance.
Communication & Team Support
Liaise effectively with customers, TPS Head Office Accounts and other stakeholders.
Work closely with the Centre Manager, Sales Manager and Centre team across 2 (Glasgow) locations to achieve business goals.
Support promotional activities including preparation of marketing materials and follow‑up calls.
Provide timely updates to customers regarding orders, credits and account status.
Feedback customer insights and lost sales opportunities to management.
Systems & Compliance
Ensure proper and accurate use of systems (e.g. SAP EKTA LEAP).
(Full training will be given)
Complete all required documentation accurately and within agreed timescales.
Ensure compliance with business standards, financial controls and legal / ethical guidelines.
Maintain a clean, tidy and efficient working environment.

Previous experience in sales administration or distribution - preferably with cash handling and / or parts sales would be beneficial to this role.
Strong customer service and relationship‑building skills.
Excellent communication skills and professional telephone manner.
Good planning, prioritisation and organisational abilities in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong IT skills (Excel, Outlook, SAP desirable).
Honest and reliable disposition due to handling of cash and sensitive data.
GCSE Maths / English or equivalent.
