Job Description Oracle Construction & Engineering is seeking a dynamic and forward‑thinking Senior Director of Customer Strategy & Industry Value to lead a global team of highly skilled consultants. This role is responsible for shaping and executing strategies that maximize customer value, drive business outcomes, and position Oracle as a strategic partner in targeted industries. The Senior Director will ensure best‑in‑class delivery of strategic consulting services, foster deep executive‑level relationships, and guide the team in articulating Oracle’s industry vision and capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership and direction to a global team of 10+ senior consultants, ensuring performance excellence and professional growth.
Develop and execute customer‑centric strategies that align Oracle’s products and services with client business objectives and industry trends.
Be accountable for the successful delivery of high‑impact industry value engagements, executive workshops, assessments, and strategic initiatives for premier enterprise customers.
Partner with sales, product, and solutions teams to support account planning, opportunity shaping, and value articulation.
Serve as the executive sponsor for key transformation projects, ensuring outcomes align with Oracle’s and the customer’s priorities.
Maintain deep industry knowledge, regularly analyzing trends, disruptions, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to inform Oracle and client strategies.
Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high‑performing team culture, providing coaching and mentorship to consultants located across diverse geographies.
Drive continuous improvement and the adoption of best practices, methodologies, and tools within the team.
Represent Oracle at industry events, customer forums, and executive briefings as a recognized thought leader in your field.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred.
12+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, enterprise technology, or related roles, with at least five years leading global teams.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute customer and industry strategies with measurable business outcomes.
Proven success managing, coaching and developing highly skilled consultants across multiple regions and cultures.
Deep expertise in cloud, SaaS, digital transformation, or enterprise applications.
Exceptional executive presence, communication, and relationship management skills.
Experience in the following industries will be given a preference: Utilities, Oil & Gas, Construction or Public Infrastructure.
Business level English; other European languages are preferable but not essential.
Willingness to Travel Willingness to travel as business needs require.
Responsibilities (Sales Enablement) As part of the Oracle sales team you will direct and manage pre‑sales resources throughout the sales cycle, providing technical/functional leadership to the sales team in the development and implementation of customer applications and products. You will participate in account planning and strategy development, publish technical information on specific applications and/or technical articles, work with management to define new products, and serve as the company liaison on specific technical projects with customers.
