The Role As a Senior Modern Workplace Solution Architect at TIEVA you will design and validate Microsoft 365‑centred solutions across the modern workplace portfolio. You will support sales engagement with deep technical expertise, lead workshops & discovery with customers (often at C‑suite or senior management level), introduce new Microsoft capabilities and produce high‑quality Statements of Work (SOWs) and proposals.
Your focus is not only on core Microsoft 365 services but also on the wider customer ecosystem we see every day: endpoint management, EDR/MDR, DLP, security posture, backup & archive and integration with third‑party platforms such as Qualys, Bitdefender, Mimecast and asset management systems like Agilitas.
The Candidate: Key Responsibilities
Lead customer discovery workshops with C‑suite IT leadership and business stakeholders to understand goals, challenges and Modern Workplace requirements.
Translate business and user needs into secure, scalable Modern Workplace solutions.
Act as technical lead in pre‑sales engagements, supporting sales teams with solution validation demonstrations and proposals.
Maintain awareness of Microsoft roadmap developments (e.g. Copilot, Viva, Loop, Mesh) and advise customers on adoption strategies.
Solutioning
Design Modern Workplace solutions across Microsoft 365: Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Viva, Copilot and collaboration platforms.
Define endpoint and device management strategies (Intune, Windows Hello for Business, lifecycle and asset management integration).
Develop migration strategies for Exchange, SharePoint, file services and endpoint fleets to Microsoft 365.
Guide customers on security compliance and governance using Purview, Defender and Intune.
Address practical customer challenges: DLP complexity, licensing optimisation, MX routing and device lifecycle management.
Support integration with wider customer ecosystems (Bitdefender, Qualys, Mimecast, Agilitas).
Cross‑Functional Delivery
Produce high‑quality SOWs, proposals, RFP responses and solution documentation.
Deliver workshops, demos and PoCs to articulate designs and business value to technical and non‑technical audiences.
Collaborate with Sales Delivery and PMO teams to ensure seamless project handover and alignment with delivery capability.
Maintain reusable templates, reference architectures and best‑practice artefacts to scale Modern Workplace engagements.
What We Are Looking For Essential Skills & Experience
5 years experience designing and delivering Microsoft 365 / Modern Workplace solutions.
Proven expertise in migrations, endpoint management (Intune), Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and M365 security & compliance.
Exposure to customer security stacks including Bitdefender, Qualys, Defender, MDR/EDR and Mimecast.
Strong pre‑sales skills: discovery workshops, proposals, demos, Statement of Works and presentations.
