About The Role
We’re on the lookout for a proven Sales Manager to lead our UK sales for Dry & Wet Riser inspection, maintenance and repair contracts – part of PTSG’s growing Fire Solutions Division.
You’ll be responsible for managing two established Business Development Managers across our UK Dry Risers and Pure Power businesses (based from Middleton, Manchester), while driving your own pipeline of new business opportunities nationwide.
This is a hands‑on leadership role – ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, shaping strategy, and closing deals. You’ll have full backing from our Divisional MD, senior leadership team, and access to opportunities across the wider PTSG Group’s 30+ businesses.
What You’ll Be Doing
Leading and motivating two Business Development Managers
Identifying new clients and developing long‑term relationships
Presenting PTSG’s full range of fire safety solutions – from risers and hydrants to pumps and sprinklers
Preparing tenders, proposals and tailored presentations
Collaborating with colleagues across PTSG’s Fire, Access, Safety and Electrical divisions to win multi‑service contracts
Driving sales growth, market share and
Representing the business at client meetings, events, and industry conferences
What We’re Looking For
A confident, credible sales professional with a track record of success in service contract sales
Ideally experienced within the fire protection industry – though strong candidates from facilities, M&E or building services are welcome
Natural people manager and motivator – able to bring energy, focus and accountability to a small team
Commercially savvy and target‑driven, with strong presentation and negotiation skills
Comfortable managing the full sales cycle – from prospecting and tendering through to closing and ongoing account development
Willingness to travel to meet customers and attend group meetings
