Lead DevOps Engineer We’re partnering with a high-growth, mission-driven technology startup that’s building a complex, data-heavy platform already used at serious scale. The product is live, growing fast, and now hitting the point where infrastructure, reliability, and developer experience really matter.
They’re looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to take ownership of how software is built, deployed, and operated — working directly with the CTO and engineering leadership.
This is a true hands‑on leadership role: not managing tickets, but designing the platform, setting standards, and removing friction so engineers can move fast without breaking things.
What you’ll be doing
Owning cloud infrastructure and deployment strategy end-to-end
Building modern Infrastructure as Code and moving toward fully automated environments
Designing containerised deployments and scalable release workflows
Creating fast, reliable CI/CD pipelines with proper testing and rollback
Solving real‑world problems around large datasets, migrations, and environment parity
Making local development and onboarding genuinely easy for engineers
