Your responsibilities as a Design Verification Engineer will include: Collaborating with Architects : Work closely with CPU and SoC architects to understand system-level requirements. Developing Plans : Create detailed test and coverage plans based on micro-architecture specifications. Defining Methodologies : Establish scalable verification methodologies that can be applied across various environments. Building Verification Environments : Construct environments using stimulus generators, checkers, assertions, and coverage models. Creating Plans and Testbenches : Develop verification plans and testbenches for assigned functional areas. Executing Verification Plans : Support design bring-up and assist with debugging failures as needed. Job Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications: Technical Expertise : Strong understanding of microprocessor verification and processor architectures. Verification Experience : Familiarity with Random Instruction Sequencing (RIS) and design verification at various levels. Leadership Skills : Proven experience leading small teams of verification engineers in project settings. Knowledge of Processor Functionality : Deep knowledge of micro-architectures and processor functions. Testing Proficiency : Skilled in developing test plans and creating portable testbenches and assembly-level tests.
