What You Will Own
People
- Build, coach, and inspire a world-class team across our cafes and bakery
- Deeply care for your teams — from BOH to baristas — creating a culture of warmth, inclusion, and accountability.
- Develop and grow your team members through consistent mentorship, performance feedback, and opportunities for advancement.
- Partner with owners to ensure all new hires succeed and feel supported from day one.
- Celebrate wins, coach through challenges, and cultivate leaders who embody our values.
Product
- Execute our products flawlessly across your cafes — from the perfect espresso shot to a memorable guest experience.
- Maintain and elevate coffee and food quality standards across all locations; ensure recipes, prep guides, and service standards are consistently met.
- Train and inspire teams to communicate what makes us special — a place where warmth, precision, and community meet.
- Act as a brand guardian, ensuring every guest experience reflects our commitment to hospitality and excellence.
Physical Space
- Maintain true operational and brand excellence in every café under your leadership.
- Ensure all locations meet NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOH) standards, with A-Grade readiness at all times.
- Keep spaces clean, organized, and welcoming — a reflection of the pride we take in our work and our neighborhoods.
- Support your teams in executing weekly cleaning and maintenance routines.
Ensure back-of-house and storage spaces are safe, efficient, and compliant with all regulations.
Performance
- Be the best at what you do and inspire your teams to do the same.
- Own the financial performance of your cafés, including P&L oversight, revenue growth, and labor management.
- Drive sales growth through creative local initiatives, partnerships, and community engagement. This will be a partnership with marketing.
- Uphold and exceed company standards — maintaining a Google rating of 4.8+
- Celebrate positive feedback and swiftly action any opportunities for improvement.
Support efficient scheduling, timecard compliance, and effective labor budgeting.
Lead hiring and onboarding efforts for new stores, seasonal peaks, and backfills in partnership with the people team.
What You'll Bring
- 3–4 years of experience managing and leading operations in high-growth hospitality
- Proven success managing multiple locations or departments.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills; ability to motivate teams and foster connection.
- Deep knowledge of specialty coffee and a love for hospitality.
- Track record managing inventory, supply chains, and vendor relationships.
- Bullish action-oriented mindset with strong decision-making, time management, and organizational skills.
Must be available to work 2 peak days (usually Friday, Saturday, or Sunday).
