Your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate shipping records, communicating with various stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with shipping regulations. While the role is primarily administrative, some physical tasks, including occasional moderate Lifting and handling of packages, may be required. We are dedicated to providing a safe work environment, supplying all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and offering comprehensive training. Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and process all outgoing shipping documents.
- Schedule and coordinate pickups with various shipping carriers.
- Verify order details against shipping manifests to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure packages are correctly labeled, weighed, and documented.
- Maintain organized shipping logs and update tracking information.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external partners regarding shipment status.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Assist with receiving and inventory tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics is preferred.
- Proficiency with shipping software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to perform occasional light Lifting (up to 25 lbs).
- Knowledge of shipping regulations and best practices.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols, including PPE.
