Senior Design Manager - Substations - Up to £90,000 DOE + Package First Tasks Professional are currently working alongside a business that is anticipating an extremely busy 5‑year period after recent successful tenders for frameworks in the power sector. They are looking to build a team in the Scottish market permanently due to this success – this will include a Senior Design Manager with previous experience in the Power sector.
What are they looking for?
Familiarity with pre‑construction and tender design appointments
Knowledge and experience in the energy sector, particularly with substations
Proficient in working under NEC3/NEC4 contracts and managing associated change processes
Skilled in appointing design consultants and overseeing scope and programme management
Strong understanding of design management processes and procedures
Experience with BIM (Building Information Modelling) is advantageous
