Key Responsibilities and Skills What You’ll Do
The Centre of Excellence (COE) is the driving force behind SmartPA, where strategy comes to life. As part of this dynamic, client‑facing department, you’ll be the heartbeat of our business – delivering high‑impact, tailored support to a key client account daily.
In the role of
Business Support Executive , you’ll play a pivotal role in providing bespoke solutions to a variety of stakeholders. You’ll tackle real challenges, establish meaningful relationships and make a tangible difference to client success.
This particular role is assigned to one of our ‘dedicated’ clients, meaning you will be representing our brand, whilst working very closely with a
global tech giant .
This is a
generalised role
for someone with a strong organisational streak, and keen aptitude with data and information systems.
What Your Day Will Look Like
Curate and govern research data: manage the lifecycle of complex, unstructured research datasets, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
Coordinate content updates across platforms (e.g., internal knowledge bases, dashboards, microsites, Google Sheets and NotebookLM), working with stakeholders to gather, format, and publish information.
Process and clean raw data using tools like spreadsheets, preparing it for analysis or reporting.
Develop and document standards, processes, and governance policies for content and data management, covering best practices and system usage.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining a high level of quality under tight deadlines.
Skills About You
You are highly organised, meticulous, and comfortable handling large volumes of information. You have a natural curiosity about how data systems work and are always looking for ways to make processes more efficient. You are a reliable and effective communicator who can translate technical data concepts to non‑technical colleagues.
Experience What You’ll Need
Your experience is key but your attitude is what sets you apart.
Essential:
Proven experience in a content management, data entry, or administrative role with a focus on data.
Expert proficiency with spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets), including functions, pivot tables, and data validation.
Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to identifying and correcting data inaccuracies.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong understanding of how to simplify data for the end user, allowing them to make quick decisions, whilst working at pace – whether this be through charts and/or summarising in a clean, meticulous way.
Desirable:
Comfortable and familiar with basic querying and data manipulation.
Experience working with a Content Management System (CMS) or a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform.
Experience with data governance best practices.
Familiarity with version control and modern documentation practices.
Work Remotely Yes
Salary £30,000 – £40,000 (depending on experience)
Schedule Monday – Friday. Your working hours will be
2:00 pm to 10:30 pm (UK time) , aligned to cover the
9:00 am to 5:30 pm (EST)
business day.
Job Type Full-time, Permanent (37.5 hours per week)
