Grade: GG08 - GG13 Are you passionate about cutting-edge technology and motivated to find innovative solutions? Join BAE Systems as a DevOps Engineer. As a DevOps Engineer, you will bridge development, testing, network/infrastructure, operations, and system administration to facilitate efficient, continuous, and high-quality software delivery. You will combine coding or scripting skills with process reengineering, teamwork, and communication skills. A broad knowledge of software development and deployment is essential. You will work in a multidisciplinary team requiring technical and soft skills across several domains, including automation, human skills, technical skills, enabling skills, and process knowledge. Key Skills and Responsibilities:
Automation:
Design, build, and maintain automation solutions for building, testing, deploying applications and infrastructure, including CI/CD, orchestration, workload automation, cloud management, and configuration management. Human Skills:
Excellent communication, problem-solving, collaboration, knowledge sharing, and adaptability. Technical Skills:
Experience with cloud platforms, operating systems, programming, containerization, application technologies, databases, and legacy infrastructures. Enabling Skills:
Understanding of IT operations, security, application development, and architecture. Process & Frameworks:
