We are looking for a Technical Sales Manager UK/IR & Benelux to start as soon as possible.
The Technical Sales Manager based in the UK or Ireland will be the first point of contact for our HDG and Industrial customers in the United Kingdom, Ireland and Benelux.
You will drive profitable growth through technical expertise and commercial excellence, develop and manage customer relationships, identify new market opportunities and act as the key technical interface between our customers and the internal support team of the Business Unit Zinc Chemicals.
Qualifications & Experience
Technical and chemical competency through a Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, a successfully absolved technical apprenticeship (e.g. laboratory technician, CTA, metal surface engineering) or other similar qualification
Sound commercial experience in technical sales of chemical products, ideally in hot‑dip galvanising or surface‑treatment/metal‑finishing technologies
Strong technical understanding, commercial acumen and sales ability combined with the ability to bring together these skill sets to the benefit of TIB and the customers
Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus (German, Dutch or French)
Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools
Willingness to travel frequently (approx. 50–60 %)

Key Responsibilities Sales & Market Development
Achieve revenue and margin targets in the assigned regions
Actively develop new business opportunities and grow existing accounts
Maintain long‑term partnerships based on trust, reliability and technical support
Contribute to regional forecasts, budgets and sales strategies
Identify growth opportunities and contribute ideas for new applications and market approaches
Strengthen the market position of BU Zinc in the region through technical and commercial excellence
Represent the company at trade fairs, conferences and customer events
Maintain and document all customer activities in the CRM system
Liaise with internal functions such as Supply Chain, Production, Product Management and R&D
Technical Customer Support
Provide technical advice to customers on product selection, applications and process optimisation; conduct on‑site trials, trainings and product demonstrations where necessary
Take on process responsibility and conduct on‑site analysis of customers’ processes or coordinate internally, then report back customers with improvement and control instructions
Handle technical complaints or issues and ensure competent resolution in cooperation with the product manager, R&D and technical team or production
