We’re looking for an experienced Content Designer with strong GDS and central government delivery experience to join a multidisciplinary team working on high-profile public services.
What you’ll do:
Create user-centred content across digital services following GDS guidelines
Work closely with user researchers, interaction designers and product teams
Contribute to content strategy, user journeys and service design
Ensure all content is clear, accessible and meets WCAG and GDS standards
Champion plain English and evidence-based decision making
What we’re looking for:
Proven experience working to
GDS Service Standards
Strong portfolio of government or public-sector content design
Ability to work in agile, take part in ceremonies and collaborate across teams
Excellent communication, editing and structuring skills
Understanding of user needs, testing and iteration
