How You'll Make An Impact
Achieve sales and growth targets within the assigned markets and accounts, including pipeline development, management and sales forecasting.
Lead and orchestrate cross‑functional teams to generate and present competitive, differentiated solutions and bids to customers.
Define bid pricing, positioning and channel strategies.
Lead technical and commercial discussions, negotiations and deal closing.
Proactively present products, solutions, services and new technology through seminars, workshops and trials, leveraging presales technical support resources.
Establish, develop and maintain partnerships with channel partners such as telecom system integrators and EPCs.
Maintain excellent relationships with key players in the allocated market – end customers, system integrators and EPC contractors.
Gather market information and trends to keep knowledge up‑to‑date and inform appropriate market strategies.
Your Background
Marketing and sales‑oriented personality.
Electrical / Electronic Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering background with at least 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the vital infrastructure sector.
A proven sales record is an added advantage.
Knowledge of data transmission systems (fiber, packet‑based, IP, MPLS, TDM) in mission‑critical applications for electric utilities, rail, oil & gas and air traffic management.
Result‑oriented, customer‑focused personality with strong interpersonal skills.
Conversant with commercial aspects of contracts in international business.
Self‑driven with strong initiative, highly committed team player capable of managing external and internal stakeholders toward Hitachi Energy’s goals.
Fluent communication in written and spoken English; additional European languages are a plus.
