Key Responsibilities: Drive automation for end-to-end testing and improve automation pipelines for video playback across various devices, including Smart TVs, set-top boxes, and game consoles. Collaborate with teams to automate test cases for video technology features such as Ultra HD, Dolby Atmos, and low-latency live streaming. Contribute to performance testing, ensuring high-quality video playback experiences on diverse devices. Develop and implement tools and strategies to simulate real-world conditions (e.g., poor internet connection) and detect performance regressions. Participate in Agile development processes, working closely with other teams to ensure consistent, high-quality testing and timely releases. Investigate and troubleshoot failed tests, identify root causes, and contribute to solutions. Requirements
Basic Qualifications: Strong experience in automation and manual testing, with a focus on performance and scalability. Proven leadership as a QA lead on medium to large projects. Proficiency in Typescript and Python for code reading, writing, and debugging. Ability to create and develop interceptors to simulate test scenarios and effectively triage failed tests. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with automated testing frameworks like Selenium or Appium. Scripting and coding skills with a solid understanding of technical systems. Experience in gathering test requirements and creating detailed test plans with quality metrics. Ability to collaborate effectively with development and business teams to assess impact and business needs.
