Essential Skills:

Communication – Good written English, positive and professional tone
Basic Design Sense – An eye for what looks appealing and on‑brand
Organisational Skills – Able to plan and schedule posts consistently
Community Engagement – Comfortable replying to comments/messages and building rapport
Desirable Skills:
Experience running social media accounts for a business, charity, or project
Knowledge of simple analytics (insights, reach, engagement)
Basic video editing skills (Reels, TikTok)
PR or marketing background
Qualities:
Passion for Animal Welfare – You truly care about rescue work
Creativity – You enjoy coming up with fresh content ideas

What will you be doing? Are you passionate about animals and skilled at creating engaging content? We’re looking for a Social Media Volunteer to help us grow our online presence and share the stories of the animals who need us most.
About Us: Help a Stray Cat is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in need in Turkey. With your help, we can raise awareness, inspire support, and find loving homes for countless cats.
What You’ll Do:
Create and schedule posts for Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms
Share heartwarming rescue stories and adoption updates
Promote fundraising campaigns and events
Engage with our supporters and grow our community
Help develop creative ideas to showcase our mission
What We’re Looking For:
A love of animals and compassion for their welfare
Experience using social media for a business, charity, or community group
Good writing skills and eye for engaging content
Ability to volunteer [e.g., 2–4 hours per week]
Creativity and reliability
